Storage

After cleaning, all equipment should be stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight or fluorescent lights.

Regulators

  • Hoses should be loosely coiled, NOT bent.
  • Activate any anti-engraving systems (R190, R380, R390, G250).
  • On any adjustable regulator, unscrew the adjustment knob completely. (G250, G500, S600, X650).
  • The regulator can best be protected during storage and transportation in a padded regulator bag.

Note: Do not use any silicone sprays or other non-specified products

      

Buoyancy Compensators

  • Store partially inflated
      

Instruments

  • Do not store near cell phones.
  • Ensure that the display is not exposed to direct sunlight.
  • Do NOT store in airtight containers as this may affect calibration.
      

Suits

  • Store in a cool, dry place on a specifically designed wide profile hanger.
  • Avoid folding or bunching.
  • Suits should not be stored inside out.
      

Accessories

Knives

  • Coat the blade with a thin layer of silicone grease or oil.

Torches

  • Remove the batteries. Batteries can vent off gas and leak acid.
      

Fins / Masks / Snorkels

Masks

  • Ensure that the silicone skirt is not in contact with a hose or any other rubber products as this may cause discolouration.
  • Store in the protective case provided to maintain the shape of the skirt.

Fins

  • Store flat so that their natural shape is preserved.
  • Use foot pocket protectors when supplied to preserve the foot pocket shape.
  • Connect all quick release buckles to prevent breakage or loss.
